Welcome to day 4 of the tour! The tour concept of “What would you make if trapped on a desert island with one pattern?” is an interesting idea for me to muse over. Would I produce some easy staple in bulk? Would I complete a single project that has an aspect that normally would be seen as too time consuming for me? Despite purging my belongings each time I’ve moved during my adult life, a vintage 1950’s era prom dress that I found during my late teens has continued to stay in my possession. I’ll probably never wear the dress but the craftsmanship is something that both fascinates and inspires me. All the near perfect hand sewing from the hem to all the beads/sequins. Maybe I could tackle a project like that if it was the only thing I had to do! Ha! Be sure to check out the tour posts today and come back tomorrow for more Desert Island Sew posts.
